Sydney When in Rome - première séance chez le coiffeur

Only this morning I finished attaching the lace motifs and the border to the silk tulle veil. However, this veil is not finished; to do that, I need the hairstyle to be well advanced so that I know how and at what point to gather the top of the tulle and especially how to finish it. Maybe I'll be able to take the gathers on a narrow bias or something like that.

In the meantime, I've got to get on with what I think is the most difficult part of the process: the hairstyle.

First step: shampoo and detangle the hair. Nothing complicated about that!

First thing I noticed: I'm going to have to add a certain number of strands (luckily I've got some 'saran' hair of the same colour in stock) because the construction of the hairstyle is very precise and requires two partings starting in the middle of the forehead and going down, in a rounded shape, on each side of the skull and as far as behind the middle of the ears.

It's obvious from these photos of hair divided into three parts that there are gaps to fill. So I'm going to proceed as I did with Euphemia and add strands, in rounded lines, to form these two partings.

For the moment, while she waits for her hair implants, Miss Sydney is letting her hair dry. It shouldn't take too long, as it's very hot.
